Northern Foods – Extension at Fox’s Biscuits, Batley
- Project: Extension of manufacturing facility
- Location: Batley, West Yorkshire
The contract was awarded to MD Construction (Bfd) Ltd to construct an extension to the existing facility.
The work comprised of the construction of foundations, new structural steel frame, a suspended in-situ concrete floor, external cladding,
resin floor finish and installation of new high speed roller shutter doors.
Production within the factory was maintained throughout the contract and precautions were made to maintain the hygienic standards in the process areas.
